The Alpaca Gloves

Fingerless charcoal gloves with a long ribbed cuff that covers the wrist. Open at the fingertips and slit at the thumb, so you can still use your hands.

Fabric: 70% baby alpaca, 23% polyamide, 7% wool.
Care: Hand wash cold with mild detergent. Reshape while wet and lay flat to dry.

Measurements (inches)

One size. That 8.5 inches is the full length from cuff to fingertip opening, so on most hands it covers the wrist and part of the forearm rather than stopping at the joint.

Where it comes from: Hand-knitted by Allpa, a network of eighty small workshops across Peru that trains weavers and lends to them so they can build their own businesses.
