The Corduroy Trouser
Wide-leg corduroy on a drawstring waist, in black, grey or brown. The wale catches light in a way flat fabric does not, which is most of the reason to own a pair.
Fabric: 95% polyester, 5% spandex. Corduroy is a weave rather than a fibre — the wale is real, the yarn is synthetic, and we would rather say so than let you assume cotton.
Care: Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low.

Fit note: Fuller in the leg than our plain Drawstring Trouser but tighter at the waistband — 42.1 inches at the hip against 40.2 at M, on a waist that measures more than an inch narrower. If you liked the drawstring pair and want more volume below the hip, this is the one. As with those, the waist is measured relaxed and opens up on the tie, so choose on hip. Our supplier lists a drawstring but does not list pockets; we cannot confirm either way from the photography, so ask us first if pockets are a dealbreaker.
