Fit note: The waist figures are the waistband measured flat and relaxed, not stretched — 28.3 inches at M is not the waist it fits, it is the waist before the drawstring does anything. Size on the hip instead: 40.2 inches at M through 49.6 at 5XL is the number that actually decides how this sits. Length is the full length of the garment, 39 to 43 inches, which reads as an outseam rather than an inseam. One quirk: 4XL and 5XL are the same length at 42.9 inches, so the top two sizes differ in width only.
