A velvet blazer for under sixty dollars, which means we should tell you what it is and what it isn't. It is a polyester velvet with a soft, dry pile — the kind that photographs beautifully in low light and holds a lapel line. It is not silk, and it isn't pretending to be. In camel it reads as the most interesting jacket in the room without asking for much.
Fabric: 100% polyester, velvet finish. No lining stretch, no give — the fit is the fit.
Care: Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low.

Fit note: Read that chest column carefully. 37.8 inches at M is genuinely slim for a men's medium — most brands put a medium blazer nearer 40. This is cut close on purpose, but it means the size on the label is running about one size small against what you're used to. If you normally wear a medium jacket, order the large. If you're between sizes at all, go up. There is no stretch in this fabric to bail you out.
The jump from M to L is only 1.2 inches, then it widens to 2 inches a size from XL up — so the bigger sizes have more room to work with than the small end does.
