The Check Wool Scarf

A buffalo-check scarf in camel and cream, just under 75 inches long — enough to loop twice and still have ends. Also in brown, and in a black-and-white check.

Care: Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low.

A note on that fabric line, because it is shorter than usual. Our supplier titles this product "100% Wool Plaid Scarf", and the scarf itself carries a small sewn label reading 100% WOOL — you can see it in the flat-lay photograph. But the composition field on their own listing says only wool, with no percentage. A product title and a woven label are marketing copy; the composition field is the specification. Where the two disagree, we publish the specification. So: it is wool. We cannot tell you from their data that it is exclusively wool. If that matters to you before you order, ask us and we will get it from them in writing.

One size. Length 74.8. That is the only dimension published.

Fit note: at nearly 75 inches this is the longer of our two scarves by a foot, and it will loop twice on most people. If you would rather a scarf that hangs straight than one that bunches at the neck, our Ribbed Wool Scarf is 63 inches and does that better.

On the colours: six exist, we list three. The camel is the one to buy. We left two reds and a pale blue behind.
