The Washed Denim Vest
A button-through denim vest in a vintage wash — collarless, cut straight, long enough to wear closed over nothing much. It layers under a jacket in autumn and works on its own by itself in July, which is more than most single pieces manage.
Fabric: 65% cotton, 33% polyester, 2% elastane. Slight give from the elastane. Garment washed.
Care: Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low.

Fit note: The waist runs wider than the bust at every size — 33.1 against 35.4 at S — so this is cut straight through rather than shaped. If you want it fitted, size down; if you want to wear it over a knit, stay true.
Two thirds cotton, not all of it. The polyester is what holds the wash and stops it creasing in a suitcase. We would rather it were 100% cotton and we are telling you it isn't.
